Overview

 

Clever.

A clever blend of radio and satellite, hiiro is designed to protect people who operate in remote environments and perform high-risk, specialised tasks.

hiiro is perfect for lone workers and teams operating in remote environments in industries such as power and utilities, resources, transportation and community health care.

Easy.

A simple push button and accurate person-down sensors will activate an SOS alarm, accompanied by configurable audible and visual confirmation.

Status can be communicated using the pendant’s separate check-in and check-out buttons to indicate arrival/departure, commencement/completion, or simply to satisfy scheduled welfare checkpoints.

Pendants are inductively charged and automatically sleep-cycled based on proximity to charger to prolong battery life.

Everywhere.

​hiiro consists of wearable radio pendants and a satellite base station which is installed in either a vehicle or fixed infrastructure.

With a pendant range of up to 1.2km, hiiro provides protection when there is no cellular coverage and where direct satellite connection is unavailable.
